The cover story reported on a significant speech given by Fidel Castro in September 1965, in which he said that he would soon explain the much speculated on, mysterious, seven-month disappearance of revolutionary Che Guevara. In the same speech he also announced, for the first time since the revolution, that he would allow Cubans with American relatives to leave the island.
